In this set of paintings from the Things that Are series we find Debbie Harry, of the band Blondie, singing a duet with Kermit the Frog from the Muppet Show (Episode 507) . As they sing Rainbow Connection together, Scott captures the connection between them. Done in three different styles, each one explores a reveling fragile moment as they sing together; "The lovers, the dreamers and me." Together, they affirm that Rainbows are indeed Punk!
In this fist painting, done in a more stylized/ semi-realistic style, Scott captures Debbie looking almost longinly to Kermit as if rememberig an earlier, simpler time.
